Collection: Abi-K Runners
Create a unique statement in your home with our incredible opulent table runners which look equally as fantastic as a bed runner or wall hanging.
Made from vintage Japanese kimono obis, these conversation starting unique runners can be draped anywhere in your home to create a stylish interior homeware statement.
Stitched and finished to a point with a tassel at each end, with an added bespoke Abi-K laser etched leather label on one side, the runners have a plain silk on the reverse, part of the original vintage obi. The obi is the formal sash worn around the waist of a kimono, once worn by geishas or in formal Japanese ceremonies. We use the Fukuro obi, (formal, ceremonial obis with 60% pattern coverage) and occasionally Maru obi (patterned 100% both front and reverse). The obis range from 1920’s upwards and as they are ceremonial, they are only worn once.
We offer a bespoke service and can make matching / coordinating cushions. Please get in touch and we can chat about the possibilities.
